Ever dreamed of creating a tiny, realistic doll box? Now you can! In this tutorial, I'll show you how to make a mini packaging box for 1:6 scale accessories, perfect for dioramas and doll photography.
✂️ What You’ll Need:
Printed box template (available for free download below!)
Scissors or craft knife
Glue or double-sided tape
A tiny doll to fit inside!
A piece of clear plastic (from old doll packaging or any transparent plastic sheet)
Crystal-clear glue (e.g., Moment Crystal or similar)
📌 Step 1: Print & Cut
Download the free template and print it on thick paper or cardstock. Carefully cut along the outer edges using scissors or a precision knife.
✨ Don't forget the window!
Most doll boxes have a transparent window to display the doll inside. Using a craft knife, carefully cut out the window area on the front panel of the box.
📌 Step 2: Add the Plastic Window
Take a small piece of clear plastic (for example, from an old doll box or plastic food packaging) and cut it slightly larger than the window opening.
Apply a thin layer of Moment Crystal glue (or another clear adhesive) around the edges of the plastic piece and attach it to the inside of the box, covering the window cutout. Let it dry completely before moving to the next step.
📌 Step 3: Fold & Glue
Fold along the dotted lines to shape the box. Use glue or double-sided tape to secure the edges, forming a sturdy structure.
📌 Step 4: Add a Doll & Seal
Place your miniature doll inside and carefully close the box. Now you have a perfect tiny collectible!
